The Deadliest Crab
One of my first projects to learn about shaping, the Deadliest Crab pattern by Amber Allison. This was a fun little guy to knot, now rechristened "Crabby" and dearly beloved by a sweet little girl close to my heart.
Oriental Lily Baby Dress
This kimono/ballet wrap pattern, Oriental Lily by Georgie Hallam, was a really simple but beautiful knit in Fleece Artist Blue Face Leicester DK with a bodice and hem accent in Noro Silk Garden.
Side Slip Cloche
This is definitely one of my favourite hats ever. I feel like a flapper every time I put it on, and it is completely the softest. thing. ever. The pattern is Side Slip Cloche by Laura Irwin, available in the book "Boutique Knits". The dreamy-soft yarn is Suri Merino by Blue Sky Alpacas and it is like wearing a cloud. Not cheap, but sooo worth it.
Sahara long-sleeve sweater
Berroco Lustra Yarn in Red Grape, hand beaded at neckline and wrists. The pattern is "Sahara" by Wendy Bernard. (truly awful photos, I apologize. New ones coming soon).
Manda Ruth baby sweater
Hot-pink and yellow fiber from Knotty by Nature, spun into a 3-ply yarn, very rustic! The pattern is Manda Ruth by Jane Richmond.
Presto-chango baby sweater
Pumpkin-orange wool baby sweater with an interchangeable front panel for the baby-on-the-go who has the occasional spill. Presto-chango pattern available here.
Photo-prop baby tutu
Love this little gypsy tutu. Paton's Pirouette, the pattern is Just for Frills Baby Romper by Melody Rogers, with a couple of modifications. The yarn was an absolute pain to work with, but the end result is adorably worth it!

One of my first sweaters, the Flower-backed sweater by Kristin Omdahl. Knit up in gorgeous Malabrigo Silky Merino in "Lettuce" with Tilli Thomas Rock Star beaded flower accents.

One of my favourite sweaters - it gets a lot of wear! The pattern is Tubey by Cassie Rovitti, and it is knit in Rowan Cashsoft Aran, a springy merino, microfiber & cashmere blend.
